Willian Pancho, a 22-year-old Ecuadorian central defender, is reportedly on the verge of signing for PSG.

In eleven days, Paris Saint-Germain will officially begin its season, traveling to Le Havre, on the occasion of the advanced match of the first day of Ligue 1. For the moment, the summer transfer window of the capital club remains calm, given that the Russian goalkeeper Matvey Safonov is the only recruit.

However, the movements should intensify during the week. The officialization of the transfer of Joao Neves, coming from Benfica for 70 million euros (including ten in bonuses), is imminent. PSG would also be on the verge of securing the services of Willian Pacho. According to RMC Sport, an agreement has been reached with Eintracht Frankfurt for a transfer estimated at around 40 million euros.

Willian Pacho, PSG’s surprise recruit?

The 22-year-old Ecuadorian central defender has reportedly expressed his willingness to commit to the French champions. Discussions between PSG management and their German counterparts are said to be well advanced and the transfer could quickly become a reality.

While waiting for new reinforcements, Luis Enrique’s men continue their preparation. They will play two friendly matches on August 7 and 10. First in Austria, against Sturm Graz, then in Germany to challenge RB Leipzig.
