Manchester City could part ways with one of their midfielders to Turkish club Galatasaray.

Manchester City midfielder Kalvin Phillips is currently being tipped to strengthen Galatasaray’s ranks.

The England international spent the second half of last season on loan at West Ham and is expected to leave City this summer. Sky Blues manager Pep Guardiola is still not counting on him.

Guardiola doesn’t hold him back

A move to England has been mooted for Phillips, but his agents have also received enquiries from abroad, with The Sun claiming Gala are keen to sign him.

Phillips is understood to be open to a move to Istanbul to revive his career. If the move goes through, he won’t be the first England international to play in the Turkish Super Lig, as Dier and Sturridge have played there. But he will be the first at Galatasaray. The Blood and Gold have had English players before, but they weren’t internationals, namely Mike Marsh and Barry Venison.
