Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has dismissed any suggestion of taking the England job.
The Catalan insisted that he is not interested in the position. He said in his last media appearance : “I am here (at Manchester City, editor’s note) and I am very happy.”

“I can’t say anything. I don’t know where it comes from. I’m really happy here, he continued. I’m looking forward to having the players ready to come back and start training together and updating what we have to do.”
The Sky Blues start their season next Saturday with the duel against neighbors Manchester United for the famous Community Shield.
Guardiola is not the first high-profile manager to reject the idea of taking charge of the Three Lions. Before him, former rival Jurgen Klopp also declined the possibility, indicating he had other plans in the short term.
