Carlo Ancelotti has dismissed rumours of conflict between new signing Endrick and Antonio Rudiger during Real Madrid training.

Footage from Real Madrid training in the United States has gone viral, showing defender Antonio Rudiger welcoming new signing Endrick, who joined the club in early July from Palmeiras.

The senior German defender can be seen pushing the young Brazilian with his shoulder to give him a taste of the physical battles he will have to endure when playing in Europe.

A clash with Rudiger?

There was speculation that the 18-year-old had a falling out with the former Chelsea defender, but Carlo Ancelotti later dismissed the rumours by suggesting that it was simply a normal welcome for the teenager. He then claimed that Kylian Mbappe would receive similar treatment once he took part in his first training session with the Whites.

Speaking to reporters at a press conference, the Italian coach said: “The reports about the problem with Rüdiger and Endrick? Nothing happened, Rüdiger just welcomed Endrick (smiles). He will do the same when Mbappé arrives, Antonio is a big boy.”
