Renato Sanches’ return to Benfica is almost official. The Paris Saint-Germain player will be loaned for a season to the Lisbon club, as part of João Neves’ transfer to the Parisian club. The 26-year-old midfielder even arrived in Portugal last night.
Renato Sanches had revealed himself to the face of Europe at Benfica, during the 2015-2016 season. His performances had earned him a call-up for Euro 2016 with Portugal. A competition that the Seleçao had won and in which he had shone. Today, after adventures marked by injuries at Bayern Munich, Swansea (England), Lille and Paris, he will return to the club where he trained.
