FC Barcelona are picking up the pace in the transfer market. After stumbling over the Nico Williams file, the Blaugranas have set their sights on another Spanish talent.

According to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, negotiations for the return of the former Masia star are well advanced. Indeed, the 26-year-old attacking midfielder has agreed to join the Blaugrana for a period of six seasons.

First hitch in the negotiations

FCB’s directors must now find common ground with their German counterparts. The latter are demanding 60 million euros for the Terrassa native, while Culés are offering 55 million plus 7 in bonuses.

However, the insider notes that the Camp Nou residents could have more difficulty in raising the remaining 3 million euros, compared to the initial 4 million additional.
