Very discreet since the start of the transfer window, FC Barcelona is reportedly on the verge of completing the arrival of an offensive reinforcement for 55 million euros.

So far, the FC Barcelona transfer window is not moving forward, but things could speed up in the coming days. If the Catalan club, in the grip of financial difficulties, has come up against the demands of Athletic Bilbao and competition from PSG in the Nico Williams case, another attractive lead could well come to fruition!

According to Fabrizio Romano, a journalist specializing in transfer news, Barça have agreed terms with Dani Olmo on a six-year contract. With the Spanish attacking midfielder tied to Leipzig until 2027, the Blaugrana leaders must now reach an agreement with their German counterparts to close the deal.

Dani Olmo agrees with Barça

It is in this sense that the Liga giants would have formulated a new proposal to the RBL. After a first rejected offer of 40 million euros, FC Barcelona would have increased its price to reach a compensation of 55 million euros guaranteed, plus 7 million euros in bonuses, more than half of which would be easy for Leipzig to obtain.

Author of a great Euro 2024 with the Roja, Dani Olmo would like more than anything to join the Camp Nou next season, he who has been playing in the Bundesliga since January 2020. It would be the opportunity for the 26-year-old international to finally establish himself in his country and in his training club, which had let him go free to Dinamo Zagreb in July 2014.
