AC Milan has its central defender. The Milanese club has just made official the signing of Strahinja Pavlovic until June 2028. The Serbian international (38 caps, 4 goals) arrives in Lombardy for a sum of around 20 million euros. His arrival in Milan could accelerate the departure of a certain Malick Thiaw, who is being persistently courted by Newcastle.

“AC Milan is pleased to announce the signing of Strahinja Pavlović from Fußballclub Red Bull Salzburg. The Serbian defender has signed a contract with the Rossoneri until 30 June 2028, with an option for a further year.”says the Milan press release. The 23-year-old defender is coming off a very big season with RB Salzburg with 3 goals and 3 assists in 37 games, all competitions combined with the Austrian club. At the Rossoneri, the 1m94 colossus, who played for AS Monaco, will wear number 31.
