Atlético de Madrid has stepped up its pace in the Dávid Hancko case. While we recently revealed the Colchoneros’ interest in the Feyenoord defender, the Spanish club’s management has made a new proposal to their Dutch counterparts. According to our information, Atlético de Madrid has submitted an offer of 26 million euros to secure the services of the Slovakian defender. Indeed, the Madrid management considers Dávid Hancko as a summer priority. The 26-year-old player has already given the Colchoneros the green light for the transfer.
According to our indiscretions, the Feyenoord club is giving itself a few days before giving its official response to Atlético. Trained at MSK Zilina and having played for Fiorentina and Sparta Prague, the versatile 26-year-old defender has been playing with Feyenoord Rotterdam since 2022. The leader of the Dutch club (42 appearances in all competitions this season), the native of Prievidza is also coming off a fairly satisfactory European Championship with Slovakia, eliminated at the last minute by England in the round of 16.
