OM: a shameful attitude with Mbemba?

OM clearly no longer counts on Chancel Mbemba. The central defender is apparently the target of methods that are disrespectful to say the least.

For services rendered to theOlympic Marseille since July 2022, Chancel Mbemba must probably be thinking that the attitude lacks class and respect. Like other of his teammates, the Congolese central defender has been classified as undesirable by the Provençal management. With Samuel Gigot, Jordan Veretout, Pau Lopez, and Ulisses Garcia, he would now train with the reserve team under the orders of Jean-Pierre Papin, advanced Foot Mercato.

The new OM coach, the Italian Roberto de Zerbi, is said to have advised the new “lofters” to find another club this summer. Chancel Mbemba, and we can understand why, does not appreciate this situation. The former rock of FC Porto would even displease in his attitude, described as irritating, according to RMC Sport. Chancel Mbemba reportedly refused offers “deemed satisfactory”, by its leaders. And that, the Senegalese international Pape Gueye would not accept.

Painful separation between Gueye and OM

The former OM midfielder, who left for Villarreal (Spain) on a free this summer, considers the actions of the Marseille club to be defamatory. This is how, at least, a message posted by Gueye on social networks is interpreted. “Club leaders who put out false information in the press by tarnishing the image of a player they want to see leave (moreover, in the end, I think that people are not fooled, most of them know that everything is false). Especially since the players targeted are irreproachable and give their all on the field for their clubs…”denounces Pape Gueye, on Instagram, without citing OM.

It had also been reported at the time that the free departure of the Senegalese international, therefore without transfer compensation for OM, had not been to the taste of Pablo Longoria, the president of the Olympian club.
