Having been relatively inactive on the market so far, Arsenal should soon register a major arrival, namely that of the Italian international, Riccardo Calafiori, but also get rid of a player who has been sidelined for over a year, Emile Smith-Rowe. Since his breakthrough season in 2022 (33 Premier League matches, 10 goals, 2 assists), the 23-year-old attacking midfielder has disappeared from the radar under Mikel Arteta (12 Championship matches in 2023, then 13 in 2024).

Probably the end of a long period of inactivity for Smith-Rowe, who should indeed sign with Fulham, as mentioned by Evening Standard this Thursday. According to the British media, the English international (3 caps, 1 goal) will become the most expensive player in the history of the Cottagers, for an estimated amount of 35 million pounds (41 million euros). Crystal Palace was also in the case, but was overtaken.
