The OM summer transfer window is still causing a lot of ink to flow with a lot of information in terms of arrivals but also in terms of departures. Very active in recent weeks, the OM leaders have already made official the arrivals of Lilian Brassier, Pierre-Emile Højbjerg, Ismaël Koné and Mason Greenwood and other recruits are also expected in the coming days. In addition to these various reinforcements, OM is also working on trimming its squad to free up its rotation and replenish the club’s coffers.

In this sense, Pape Gueye, Iliman Ndiaye and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang have already packed their bags, while Jonathan Clauss is getting closer to the exit door, heading for OGC Nice. But it’s not over yet. According to our latest information, Ismaïla Sarr will also be leaving the Marseille ship as we revealed to you a few days ago. Having arrived in the Phocaean City in the summer of 2023, the Senegalese international (64 caps, 13 goals) has never really managed to perform and establish himself as an undisputed starter in the Marseille system despite the numerous changes of coaches.

A contract until 2029!

After a season punctuated by 5 goals and 6 assists in 35 matches in all competitions, the native of Saint-Louis, who also played in the CAN last season, attracted the sirens of several clubs. With this in mind and according to our indiscretions, Crystal Palace had decided to take action to recover the right winger, currently under contract until June 2028 with OM as we already revealed to you in recent days. Thus, the Eagles made a first offer around 15 million euros. Negotiations are continuing between the two clubs.

According to our information, Crystal Palace and Ismaïla Sarr are moving forward in discussions to finalize the final details, and reach a full contractual agreement, until June 2029. In addition, the Senegalese has given the green light to the English club and is ready to join the London-based club. Having played for Metz, Rennes and more recently Watford, Ismaïla Sarr could therefore make his return to the Premier League in the coming weeks. In any case, OM is still working to trim its squad in its major workforce project.
