As Euro 2024 has come to an end, the time has come for the club friendly matches. Manchester United travelled to Scotland this Saturday to challenge the legendary Glasgow Rangers on the Murrayfield pitch. For this preparation, Dutch coach Erik ten Hag had to cobble together a starting eleven between senior players, young players from the academy and new recruits: A. Onana, S. Murray, J. Evans, L. Yoro, A. Wan-Bissaka, T. Collyer, Casemiro, M. Mount, J. Sancho, A. Diallo and E. Wheatley.

During a fairly balanced match between the two teams, it was the Red Devils who proved more effective. The opening goal scored by Amad Diallo (39th) allowed the English club to quickly take the lead in the match. In the second half, Joe Hugill doubled the lead to protect Erik ten Hag’s troops. After a setback in Norway against Rosenborg last Monday, Manchester United has found its best form again and Leny Yoro’s performance was even praised by the English supporters.
