Maignan affair: Philippe Diallo in turn condemns racism

The French Football Federation will ask FIFA to open an investigation after the publication of a video in which Argentina players sing a racist chant against the Blues. According to AFPthe FFF will write to the Argentine federation and then contact FIFA, reserving the right to take other steps at a later stage.

The racist chants were captured by Albiceleste midfielder Enzo Fernández during an Instagram live following Argentina’s Copa América victory. Sports Minister Amélie Oudéa-Castera responded via her X account, describing the Argentinian players’ behavior as “pathetic.”
