Jack Grealish is “absolutely distraught” and “at his wits’ end” after a £1million burglary at his Cheshire home.

The Manchester City striker became the target of an organised crime gang in December 2023. The England international was away at a Premier League match at Everton at the time. Ten members of his family were at the £5.6million property when raiders broke in.

Grealish’s girlfriend Sasha Attwood, who is now pregnant with the couple’s first child, was among those at the house and helped raise the alarm. However, the burglary resulted in jewellery and valuables being stolen.

Grealish more worried than ever

Cheshire Police have failed to arrest any suspects, leaving Grealish concerned at a significant time in his personal and professional life. A source told The Sun: “Jack fears they will never be caught. It has left him absolutely distraught – it has affected him and his family badly. Seven months on, no arrests have been made. Police say they are continuing to investigate but there is a real fear they have fled the country. Jack fears they will never be caught and will do it again.”

Grealish said at the time: “ I can’t explain how devastated I am by the break-in that took place at my home. My family means the world to me and nothing is more important than keeping them safe. This has been a traumatic experience for all of us, I am so grateful that no one was hurt.”
