Pascal Dupraz speaks out on the transfer of Mason Greenwood to Olympique de Marseille.

Mason Greenwood’s arrival at Olympique de Marseille has caused a stir, and for good reason. The young English striker’s tumultuous past, accused of domestic violence, has drawn strong criticism, particularly from Pascal Dupraz.

“They should have left the table immediately.”he thundered on the airwaves of RMC.
“For me, a guy who hits a girl, who commits violence against a woman, he must be condemned. We are all unanimous on that!”

“I find it shocking”

“I now position myself in relation to Olympique de Marseille. It is a big French club, a commercial company, the only one that can compete with PSG. If I had been in Pablo Longoria’s place, and I never would be, I would not have taken it!” continues the Savoyard coach.

Dupraz does not stop there and points out the financial aspects of the transfer. “We forget one thing: they pay him €31 million. The player will have enormous pressure with the OM supporters. So you follow my reasoning. Now, Longoria, he took the risk of doing it, because he is a talented player. Football-wise, it’s a good move, but I wouldn’t have done it because I find it shocking.”
