For a few weeks now, he has become the new coach of Naples. After several more or less successful experiences in Italy and in Europe, Antonio Conte will have a lot to do with the Partenopei who are coming out of a completely failed season under the leadership of three different coaches. Thus, the 54-year-old tactician will face a complicated situation, especially since several of his key players are leaving. This is particularly the case for Khvicha Kvaratskhelia. Tracked for many weeks by Paris Saint-Germain, the left winger is coming out of a completely successful Euro with Georgia and has not hidden his desire to join the capital via his representatives.

But that’s clearly not in the plans of Antonio Conte and the Neapolitan management. Present at a press conference this Saturday, the former coach of Chelsea and Juventus Turin put barbed wire around “Kvara” and Giovanni Di Lorenzo, also coveted: “When it comes to managing the boys, you have to have the final say. The president promised me they would stay and that’s what they did. All the credit goes to the club. They are two good guys. Di Lorenzo was tied for life to Napoli last year. He too was affected by the disappointment, but I played a balancing act to make people understand that you can’t ruin everything. The club has been good.“The message got through.
