Joshua Kimmich downgraded at Bayern!

Joshua Kimmich is no longer in the good books of Bayern Munich. The Mannschaft pillar will have no guarantees regarding his position or even his playing time next season in Bavaria. This was explained by the club’s sports director, Max Eberl, in the columns of Sky Sports.“Joshua is a very good player, but it’s just true that professional football is a competitive sport – we can’t say to a player: Hey, you’re guaranteed a spot.”the German sports director was keen to point out.

Another key point in the Kimmich case is his contract. The player will be free to sign wherever he wants next summer and Bayern does not want to see their player leave for nothing. Negotiations for an extension are under consideration and if the German international does not extend his lease, the Munich team will surely find him a place to stay this summer. Barça and PSG are said to be very interested in a potential signing of Joshua Kimmich. With such statements and a complicated contractual situation, the 29-year-old’s future in Bavaria could darken quite quickly.
