Eddie Nketiah is reportedly planning to leave the Gunners this summer, with Olympique Marseille reportedly interested in his services.

After a mediocre season in Ligue 1 which saw Marseille miss out on Europe, the Phocéens have decided to overhaul their squad, starting with the appointment of Roberto de Zerbi as coach and the recruitment of Mason Greenwood, with Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg also close to joining the club.

The Marseille team now have their eyes set on another Premier League star in Nketiah.

Nketiah to OM?

According to Foot Mercato, De Zerbi and Marseille have their eyes set on Nketiah for a summer transfer following Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s departure to Saudi Pro League side Al-Qadsiah. Nketiah is under contract at the Emirates Stadium until the summer of 2027, but with several names ahead of him in Mikel Arteta’s pecking order, the Englishman is keen to leave the Gunners.

According to the report, Marseille have also set their sights on Wolves’ Hwang Hee-chan to fill their striker needs, but if possible, they would prefer to sign Nketiah this summer. The 25-year-old showed great promise during his time at Arsenal and Marseille believe he would be the man for the job.
