Caught off guard, the London leaders decided to surprise everyone by betting on Enzo Maresca. While several big names like Thomas Tuchel and Roberto De Zerbi were associated with the position, it was finally the Italian tactician from Leicester who was appointed.
Asked for the first time about this surprise appointment, Maresca expressed his pride at joining the London club.
