It was another practically blank season for Layvin Kurzawa. The French left-back only played 8 minutes this season in Ligue 1, during a match against Strasbourg in October. But this time, it is indeed the end of his Parisian adventure, since he has already confirmed his departure following the end of his contract. Where will he play next season? Not in France apparently…

“I spoke with the two clubs in Seville, they are two clubs that attract me. Many French clubs have approached me, but France, for me, I have really put a cross on it. I know the image that people have of me in France. I think that they have the image of me as a bad boy. (…) I am not ugly either, it must be said. When you have money, when you are not ugly, when you play football, in France, they do not like it.”he recently confided to the media Square. If he does not feel appreciated in France, his popularity seems to remain intact abroad.

A luxury rebound?

Indeed, according to The Gazzetta dello Sporthe is coveted by… Inter. The Milanese are following his situation very closely, and he is one of the avenues being explored to strengthen the Lombard defense. The reigning Italian champion is thinking of him to replace Tajon Buchanan, injured with Canada at the Copa América, and his profile as a player with experience convinces the Italian management.

The Italians do not seem to be necessarily put off by the player’s lack of playing time in recent years. Kurzawa is not, however, the only experienced left-back coveted by Inter, since Marcos Alonso, also free following his departure from FC Barcelona a few days ago, is one of the prospects for this position. To be continued…
