Manchester United in negotiations with Matthijs De Ligt

Under contract until 2027 with Bayern Munich, Matthijs De Ligt does not rule out a departure this summer. The 24-year-old does not want to be Vincent Kompany’s third or fourth choice, says Sky Sportand may have an interesting exit door.

The Dutch international (45 caps), currently at the Euro with the Netherlands, is in talks with Manchester United, adds Sky Sport. The Red Devils have inquired about the central defender’s situation and have started negotiations with De Ligt, but not with Bayern Munich. The former Juventus Turin player would not be against a move to England.
