Forced to a draw by Colombia (1-1) for its third match of the group stage, Brazil will have to challenge Uruguay in the quarter-finals. Without Vinicius.

Another poor performance for the Seleçao. Facing Colombia in Santa Clara, Brazil could not do better than a draw (1-1). Raphinha had opened the scoring in the 12th minute^e minute of play but Daniel Munoz equalized at the very end of the first period.

Unable to beat Costa Rica in their first match (0-0), Brazil finished in second place in their group behind Colombia with 5 points. They will have to face Uruguay in the quarter-finals, the Celeste having won all three of their matches in the group stage.

And the Brazilians will have to do without Vinicius, suspended due to a new yellow card. The Real Madrid player this time elbowed James Rodriguez.
