Forced to a draw by Colombia (1-1) for its third match of the group stage, Brazil will have to challenge Uruguay in the quarter-finals. Without Vinicius.

Another poor performance for the Seleçao. Facing Colombia in Santa Clara, Brazil could not do better than a draw (1-1). Raphinha had opened the scoring in the 12th minutee minute of play but Daniel Munoz equalized at the very end of the first period.

Unable to beat Costa Rica in their first match (0-0), Brazil finished in second place in their group behind Colombia with 5 points. They will have to face Uruguay in the quarter-finals, the Celeste having won all three of their matches in the group stage.

And the Brazilians will have to do without Vinicius, suspended due to a new yellow card. The Real Madrid player this time elbowed James Rodriguez.
