Loaned this season by Real Madrid to AC Milan, Álex Jiménez (19 years old) distinguished himself with the Lombards’ youth team but was also able to play a little with the first team (5 appearances). Good performances for the right-back who helped out when the club was experiencing a cascade of injuries.

While a purchase option was included in his loan, this would have been exercised by AC Milan who would have paid 5 million euros in this operation according to Brand. He also helped AC Milan reach the Youth League final despite losing 3–0 in the final to Olympiakos.
