At a time when Roberto De Zerbi, who announced the end of his collaboration with Brighton last May, is inexorably moving closer to Olympique de Marseille, his future ex-club has just formalized the arrival of his successor. As expected, it is Fabian Hürzeler who will be on the bench of the Sussex club next season.

“We are happy to confirm that Fabian Hürzeler will become our new head coach of the men’s first team. Fabian has entered into a contract until June 2027. Once his work permit is processed, he will start working immediately”we can read in the press release. Revelation of the season with FC St. Pauli, champion of Bundesliga 2 and promoted to the German elite, the young 31-year-old coach has agreed to commit to the Seagulls until 2027 while he had extended his contract with the Hamburg-based team last March. Note that Hürzeler becomes the youngest coach in the history of the Premier League.
