During Euro 2024 and the Copa America, the transfer market is struggling to really get going. Bayern Munich, which has long struggled to enlist Vincent Kompany as coach, has already formalized the arrival of central defender from Stuttgart: Hiroki Ito, for around 24 million euros. But the Bavarian club does not intend to stop immediately and was already inclined to find a new offensive element before the start of next season.

This week, we learned that Michael Olise (22 years old) was very popular. Currently at Clairefontaine to prepare for the Olympic Games, the Crystal Palace striker was being courted by several Premier League clubs, but on Friday, the English press announced that the 22-year-old had decided to join Bayern Munich. Obviously more interested in the German project, the attacker trained at Reading made his final choice for Bavaria.

A €60 million transfer

And the transfer of the international hopeful could go much faster than expected. A verbal agreement between the French player and Bayern Munich had already been reached, but Sky Sport Germany assures this Saturday that there is now an agreement between the Recorder and Crystal Palace. The transfer fee is around 60 million euros for the French winger, who has already signed a contract with Bayern until 2029.

Everything is therefore done for the arrival of Michael Olise at Bayern Munich, pending the success of his medical examination. Author of 10 goals and 6 assists in 19 appearances with the Selhurst Park residents, the 22-year-old established himself as one of the best players in the Premier League last season. A very nice move carried out by the Munich club, while Chelsea and Manchester United were very interested in his profile.
