After eight seasons at the club, Pep Guardiola has won every trophy possible. His qualities as a fine tactician, combined with those of a manager, appeal to management. However, the Spanish coach only has one year left on his contract with Manchester City. In his traditional end-of-season review, Khaldoon Al Mubarak, the club’s president, raised this point.
“It’s difficult to put into words what he did for this club (…). This decision about his future is always a decision we make together, and I have no doubt that we will find, as we always have, the right solution that works for Pep and for us.”he told his team’s supporters.
