Bayern Munich is accelerating for a first recruit. In search of defensive reinforcement to strengthen its defensive sector, the Bavarian club wishes to draw on Bayer Leverkusen, crowned German champion for the first time in its history, and has made Jonathan Tah its priority. Part of Xabi Alonso’s squad this season, the German international (23 caps) is considering a change of scenery. In this sense, Sky Sports Germany informs us this Sunday that an agreement in principle has been reached between the 28-year-old player and Bayern for a possible transfer this summer.
If a first step has been taken, the German media however adds that nothing has yet been done, to the extent that Bayern Munich has yet to reach an agreement with Bayer Leverkusen. A task which promises to be far from easy because the Rhine club does not intend to let go of the Hamburg native so easily and would be more inclined to extend his contract according to the recent statements of the president of Bayer, Ferando Carro. As a reminder, Jonathan Tah is linked to the Pillendrehers until 2025.
