The coach spoke in particular about what he expected of his men during the Euro organized in Germany.
Before even talking about victory, the final or even the last four, the French tactician talked about the first round. A potentially tricky group phase for the Blues, even if their status should a priori protect them from any unpleasant surprises against their opponents who will be Austria (June 17), the Netherlands (June 21) and Poland (25 June). Still tough competition, and a first objective set by Didier Deschamps.
Win the first two matches

This was not the case every time. » And the 2018 world champion on the French bench continued: “ Having the assurance of being qualified means that the first two matches were successful. The goal is to win first and second. » The mission is therefore very clear for Kylian Mbappé and his teammates: do what is necessary to win against the Austrians and the Dutch.
