A new era will begin at Manchester United with the true start of the INEOS era. A big shake-up within the first team squad is expected, but there are a few players the club absolutely does not intend to part with.
Following last weekend’s FA Cup triumph over Manchester City, at least four players have earned the right to continue with the Red Devils. According to what the Daily Mirror reports, Jim Ratcliffe and Jason Wilcox have declared this quartet untransferable and they will oppose any offer concerning them. Unless of course there is a colossal offer that will be difficult to refuse.
Manchester United ready to make sacrifices
The four players in question are Kobbie Mainoo, Alejandro Garnacho, Rasmus Hojlund and André Onana. Seeing the first two names make this list is no surprise. On the other hand, we may be surprised that the Danish striker has so much confidence in his board despite a rather disappointing figures. Regarding the Cameroonian goalkeeper, he has certainly earned the right to continue by signing a heroic performance in the FA Cup final.
All other players apart from these are likely to move during the summer transfer window, including captain Bruno Fernandes. The Portuguese has high ambitions and it is rumored that he wants to join Bayern Munich in order to continue playing in the Champions League. Having finished outside the Top 5, MU will only play “only” the Europa League.
