A strong trend is emerging regarding the future of the season’s top scorer at OM, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
Olympique de Marseille striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is well on his way to taking charge of the Saudi Pro League.
According to Sky Sports, award winner Marc Vivien-Foé is attracting interest from MLS and the Saudi Pro League. And it is very likely that he will head to the Gulf, especially since the Olympian management is not at all against the idea of selling him in order to be able to replenish their coffers during the off-season. This file could definitely move forward after the appointment of a new coach at the head of the club.
OM will not retain Aubameyang
Even at the age of 34, Aubameyang maintains an excellent success rate, with 30 goals and 11 assists in 51 matches for OM. His potential departure will therefore leave a big void within the Marseille attack.
As a reminder, the Gabonese star joined OM last summer, from Chelsea, as part of a free transfer. Marseille is therefore certain to sign a capital gain on its transfer whatever X, unless it transfers it for free.
