After a long stay on the RC Lens bench, Franck Haise hopes to be able to bounce back with another French club.
The romance between Franck Haise and RC Lens seems well and truly over. A year after making Sang et Or vice-champions of France, the highly respected technician wants a change of scenery. And his ambition is to join another French elite club.
If we are to believe information from Foot Mercato, Haise hopes to bounce back at OGC Nice. The position of coach is vacant since Francesco Farioli recently stepped down from his duties to manage Ajax Amsterdam.
Haise has made his decision
Haise also had touches with OM, except that the Marseille club did not make it their priority. The French technician has therefore chosen to be master of his destiny and offer his services to a club that really wants him now.
Haise is under contract with RC Lens. His departure cannot therefore materialize without the agreement of his club. Negotiations should therefore take place between the different parties concerned. In any case, the decision of the principal concerned has been made and he does not see himself continuing on the side of Bollaert.
This season, Lens only finished 7e in the ranking, thus settling for access to the Europa League Conference. Nevertheless, the journey achieved by Haise at the head of this team commands admiration. Arriving in place of Philippe Montanier, he brought the Artésiens to Ligue 1 before guiding them to the Champions League.
