The agents of Kevin De Bruyne, Manchester City icon, have reportedly contacted several clubs in the Saudi Pro League with a view to a possible transfer.
According to a report from the Mirror, the Belgian midfielder’s representatives, Roc Nation Sport, met with 10 Saudi Pro League clubs ahead of the summer transfer window.
Agents Alan Redmond and Renato Martinez met with Al-Hilal, Al-Nassr and Al-Ittihad, among others, to discuss a possible transfer for the midfielder.
The Pro League comes to the news
De Bruyne is not expected to look to leave Pep Guardiola’s side this summer. Al-Hilal have been interested in the Belgian over the past two seasons, but have always rebuffed any interest in a possible move away from the Premier League champions.
It has long been reported that, should De Bruyne leave Man City, his preferred destination would be Major League Soccer, as he would like to move to the United States before confirming his retirement from football. San Diego FC have reportedly already expressed interest in the Belgian for a summer move, and a possible move to the United States would give them a first option on his services. As a reminder, City lost to United on Saturday evening in the Cup final.
