This is the first name that really seems to be approaching Paris Saint-Germain for the summer transfer window. For several days now, the Russian press has been announcing that the capital club is in the process of signing the starting goalkeeper from Krasnodar, Matvey Safonov (25 years old). A transfer which would bring €20 million, plus bonuses, to the Russian club. This would ensure a new competitive understudy for Gianluigi Donnarumma, since the situation of Sergio Rico is still complicated, Keylor Navas has left and Arnau Tenas is heading for a loan.

This Saturday, after Krasnodar’s victory against Dynamo Moscow (1-0), goalkeeper Matvey Safonov spoke of a possible transfer to French PSG. “Afterwards, (I’m going to take) a vacation, I think. A link with PSG? I can neither confirm nor deny. As soon as you need to know, you will find out”he explained to Championshiphe who has not confirmed that he will stay in Krasnodar next season.
