The story between Theo Hernandez and AC Milan is reportedly about to end.

Transferred to AC Milan in the summer of 2019 from Real Madrid for just under 23 million euros, Theo Hernandez should leave Lombardy this summer. According to information released this Thursday by Marcathe international tricolor ‘is about to be sold to Bayern Munich’.

Announced for several months in the sights of the German giant, Theo Hernandez would therefore have ended up saying yes to the Bavarians. It must be said that the latter are looking for a left back for next season since Alfonso Davies should leave the club during the summer transfer window to sign up with Real Madrid.

Theo Hernandez, the most expensive defender in history?

However, the Madrid media does not provide further details regarding this potential transfer of Theo Hernandez to Bavaria. We know that the value of the player, still under contract until June 2026, is estimated at 60 million euros. But for its part, AC Milan would not wait for less than 100 million euros to let go of its captain.

If he were to leave for 100 million euros, Theo Hernandez would become the most expensive defender in history. Currently, it is the young Croatian Josko Gvardiol who holds the record, he who moved last summer from RB Leipzig to Manchester City for 90 million euros. He is ahead of Harry Maguire (€87 million) and Matthijs de Ligt (€85.50 million).
