According to the Russian press, PSG has already found Gianluigi Donnarumma’s understudy for next season.
It’s a certainty: the PSG transfer window will be particularly eventful. And not only because of the planned departure of Kylian Mbappé, which the Parisian leaders intend to forget by recruiting a great player per line. Other departures are in fact expected in all sectors and this is particularly the case among goalkeepers.
Keylor Navas is at the end of his contract and is preparing to leave PSG. And uncertainty also weighs on Sergio Rico, in the recovery phase a year after his serious horse riding accident, and Arnau Tenas, who would like to be loaned out to gain playing time. So many departures which will have to be compensated by one or two arrivals .
At PSG to play understudies
Several names have been mentioned in recent weeks, notably those of Lucas Chevalier, who really appeals to Luis Campos, and Diant Ramaj, very prominent in the Ajax Amsterdam goals. But according to the Russian press, PSG should finally set its sights on Matvei Safonov, the Krasnodar goalkeeper.
According to Russian media Championat, Parisian leaders are in the process of reaching an agreement with their Russian counterparts on the basis of a transfer expected to cost no less than 20 million euros excluding bonuses at PSG. But if Lucas Chevalier or Diant Ramaj were likely to compete with Gianluigi Donnarumma, Matvei Safonov, starter for the Russian team, would have to arrive in the capital to settle for an understudy role.
