PL: Liverpool almost says goodbye to the title against West Ham

The Premier League bows out! This Sunday, Liverpool welcomes Wolverhampton to its legendary Anfield lair for the 38th and final day of the English championship. A meeting, certainly without much sporting challenge given the ranking of the two teams, but not without interest. Long in the fight for the title with Manchester City and Arsenal, Liverpool (3rd, 79pts) unfortunately collapsed in the home straight and thus finds itself already assured of finishing 3rd in the Premier League, taking part in the next edition of the Champions League. Too irregular in recent weeks, the Mersey club will however try to end this exercise on a good note, while offering a successful outing to its emblematic coach, Jürgen Klopp. After nine years of good and loyal service, the German technician has indeed announced his departure at the end of the season. Only thirteenth in the championship (46pts), Wolverhampton is comfortably installed in the middle of the ranking and has little left to play for this Sunday.

This part will be followed live with live commentary on the French Football Weekly website from 5 p.m. For this last outing in the Premier League, Jürgen Klopp remains faithful to his line of conduct with the implementation of a 4-3-3. Unsurprisingly, Alisson is present in goal, in front of a defense made up of Trent Alexander-Arnold, Jarell Quansah, Virgil Van Dijk and Andy Robertson. Wataru Endo, Harvey Elliott and Alexis Mac Allister start in midfield, while the attacking sector is made up of Mohamed Salah, Cody Gakpo and Luis Diaz. Former Juventus player and essential starter for this Wolves team, Mario Lemina is lined up in midfield, while the attack will be led by Matheus Cunha and Hee-Chan Hwang.
