To go to Germany, Didier Deschamps will choose, like the majority of his colleagues, to leave with a group of 26 players. If this change has no impact on the Blues base camp, which will easily accommodate three additional players, it changes things for the bonuses. In the event of a final victory at the Euro, the Blues were to each receive 320,000 euros from the FFF. With 26 players instead of 23, the bonuses are reduced so that the total remains the same, according to the newspaper The Team.

Each player could therefore win 290,000 euros, a reduction of 30,000 euros. As during the Christmas Le Graët era, Philippe Diallo chose to donate 30% of the profits from the competition to the players.
