Sent on loan to Benfica, Juan Bernat (31) wanted to get back on track and play a series of matches. Except that the Spaniard was quickly injured and he hardly played this season (4 appearances, 2 starts). His last match dates back to October 31. His loan is far from being a sporting or financial success for the Portuguese, who had to pay half of his salary (around €2.75 million). The Eagles are not counting on him next year.

This summer, he will therefore return to Paris, which will still seek to part ways with the player under contract until 2025. And a way out could well open for him. Indeed, Mundo Deportivo reveals that Betis, who are looking for a left back, are thinking of him. This is an option considered by the Andalusians. The Parisians hope that their interest will be confirmed.
