It’s one of the surprises of the season at Paris Saint-Germain but also in Europe. At only 18 years old, Warren Zaire-Emery has become one of the leaders of the capital club’s squad this year.

The Parisian titi has won over his world and his managers who recently extended his contract until 2029 (2028 + an optional year).

Almost indisputable holder in the mind of Luis Enrique, WZE has moved into a new dimension. His contribution is undeniable on the pitch, whether defensively or offensively. At the microphone of PSG TV, the French neo-international however keeps his head on his shoulders. The number 33 did not fail to mention his mentors in the red and blue locker room.

“Vitinha and Danilo, even when I fail, they are there to tell me that it’s nothing, that I have to continue and when I do well to pull me up,” he added. The two Portuguese internationals do not hesitate to provide advice to the young Parisian.

Starting this Wednesday against BVB?

Despite a slump in recent weeks, Warren Zaire-Emery remains a strong element of Luis Enrique’s squad in the right midfielder position. The latter should, unless there is a surprise, line him up in his starting 11 for the trip to Borussia Dortmund during the semi-final first leg of the Champions League. He should be partnered with Vitinha and Fabian Ruiz.

This trio in midfield works wonderfully and has given satisfaction on several occasions. During the double confrontation against Real Sociedad in the round of 16 but especially during the quarter-final return on the pitch of FC Barcelona.

PSG’s probable 11 against Dortmund: Donnarumma – Hakimi, Marquinhos, Lucas Hernandez, Nuno Mendes – Vitinha, Zaire-Emery, Fabian Ruiz – Dembélé, Mbappé, Barcola
