Nasser Al-Khelaïfi picked up by the DRC for the Champions Trophy

Crowned champion of France this weekend for the twelfth time in its history, Paris Saint-Germain will compete in the next Champions Trophy. However, we do not yet know where this meeting will be played, between the winner of the Coupe de France and that of the L1. The Parisian explains that the Democratic Republic of Congo is pushing behind the scenes to host TDC 2024 in Kinshasa.

While in Paris, the President of the DRC, Félix Tshisekedi, met Nasser Al-Khelaïfi this morning to discuss the subject and try to get him on his side. Indeed, he is a member of the board of directors of the LFP which will decide this week concerning the location of the competition. In addition to the DRC, China, presumably the city of Shenzhen, and Ivory Coast are candidates for the organization of the next Champions Trophy.
