Bayern Munich star Joshua Kimmich has answered questions about his future with the Bavarians, as his contract expires in 2025.
Kimmich has been heavily linked with a move to Barcelona over the past two summers and that is the case again this summer. The German star reacted to the links ahead of the Bavarians’ Champions League semi-final against Real Madrid. Speaking to AS, the German answered questions regarding his future: “I want to speak to Bayern. And when I do, I won’t come out and talk to the press about it. “I’m only focusing on the two matches against Real Madrid.”
Regarding the links with FC Barcelona, Kimmich prefers not to elaborate: “For the moment, I’m not thinking about it. As I said before, I will talk to Bayern first. But of course, Barcelona and Real Madrid are extraordinary clubs with extraordinary history. »

Will Kimmich sign his contract based on Thomas Tuchel’s successor: “ This is a very interesting question for me, but it’s not the most important thing at the moment. I know that when you sign a contract, you don’t sign it with the coach. You sign it with the club. For me, the most important thing is the club, not just the coach. But of course it is also important to know what the coach thinks of you and the team. Other people within the club are concerned about the choice of coach.
With Kimmich’s contract expiring in the summer of 2025, he has been linked with a move away from the Allianz Arena and no discussions have yet taken place over a lease extension. If the German does not extend with the Bundesliga club, it is possible that the club will look to transfer the 29-year-old this summer so as not to lose him for free next summer.
