Bayern Munich and Real Madrid face each other this Tuesday in the semi-final first leg of the Champions League (9 p.m.). Here is the expected lineup for the Bavarians.

Stripped of its championship title and eliminated in the German Cup, Bayern Munich only has the prestigious Champions League to save a very turbulent season. But the road is still long and winding for the Bavarian club, which will have to overcome the obstacle of Real Madrid, the most successful club in history with its 14 big-eared cups.

Suffice to say that Bayern would be well inspired to make a first accounting difference in this semi-final first leg at the Allianz Arena. With which starting eleven? Like his counterpart Carlo Ancelotti, Thomas Tuchel will have to make strong choices.

Uncertainties in all lines for Bayern

The physical states of several important elements raise questions. Will De Ligt, Laimer and especially the talented Musiala be able to play this match? No option can be ruled out, but the decision to do without Musiala would necessarily have an impact on Bayern’s offensive animation.

It is then the experienced Thomas Müller who would take his place in the Bavarian eleven behind Harry Kane. Sané and Guerrreiro could complete this cobbled-together attack, weighed down by the long-term absence of Coman. Laimer and Goretzka should continue in the middle, while Kimmich would retain his role as a full-back. Neuer will hold his place in goal.

The expected lineup for Bayern Munich : Neuer – Davies, De Ligt, Dier, Kimmich – Laimer, Goretzka – Sané, Müller, Gnabry – Kane.
