Thomas Tuchel has praised Real Madrid player Jude Bellingham and said Bayern Munich players must “find solutions” to stop the England player.
The Bayern Munich manager praised Bellingham’s abilities and praised him for handling the pressure of a club of Real Madrid’s stature with ease in their first-ever season. He also remained cautious before facing the in-form England midfielder, who is Real Madrid’s top scorer in La Liga for the current season.
Speaking to reporters ahead of the Champions League semi-final first leg, the former Chelsea boss said: “Jude is extraordinary… He’s been fantastic here in the Bundesliga. He’s been fantastic here in the Bundesliga, the way he’s progressed shows the level of personality he has, which is only possible with a huge personality.
“ Everyone who plays for Madrid plays with the pressure of the jersey. He plays with the pressure of playing with this club and all the expectations. He handles it like he’s never done anything else. But we are aware of it and we will try to find solutions tomorrow (Tuesday).”
Tuchel seeks solutions
The Bavarian club reached the quarter-finals for the first time since the 2019/20 season, in which they won their sixth Champions League. The Spanish giants, on the other hand, will appear in the semi-finals for the fourth consecutive season.
Tuchel’s side are set to face Carlo Ancelotti’s side in the Champions League semi-final first leg on Tuesday at the Allianz Arena before taking on VFB Stuttgart in the Bundesliga on Saturday.
