Ronaldo’s life as club president takes a new turn. The former Brazilian football star has decided to part with the majority of his shares in the Cruzeiro club, which he bought in 2021.
According to the Brazilian press, the 1994 and 2002 world champion would have reached an agreement to sell 90% of his shares to Pedro Lourenço, a businessman and owner of a supermarket chain from Belo Horizonte.

This decision comes after a difficult season for the Paulista club. The latter came close to relegation and finished 14th place, four lengths from the red zone.
According to O Globo And CNN Brazil, discussions concluded this Saturday and the transaction should be formalized during next week. It should be noted thatEl Fenomeno remains owner of the Spanish club Real Valladolid acquired in 2018.
