Liga: police identify author of racist chant against Nico Williams

This is a new case of racism in Spain. Last night, Nico Williams was the target of racist insults during the match between Atlético de Madrid and Athletic Bilbao (3-1). The 21-year-old winger, in response to these insults, celebrated his goal by showing his skin color. And Marca indicates the person responsible has been identified.

Indeed, the insults would come from a single man. La Liga has announced for its part that it will denounce “this Monday, in front of the delegated prosecutor for hate crimes in Madrid, the racist chants pronounced yesterday against Nico Williams at the Cívitas Metropolitano.” A quick reaction.
