Bayern Munich are increasingly concerned about injuries ahead of facing Real Madrid next week.

Thomas Tuchel’s side have already lost their Bundesliga title defense, with Bayer Leverkusen having already snatched the German top flight crown. Tuchel’s focus is now on the Champions League, with Real Madrid traveling to Bavaria for a tantalizing semi-final first leg scheduled for April 30.

Tuchel confirmed his concerns over a large number of injured players, with Jamal Musiala and Dayot Upamecano missing the weekend’s 2-1 win over Eintracht Frankfurt.

Many injuries before the shock

Serge Gnabry should be back in time to face Los Blancos, but Leroy Sané is a 50-50 option for Tuchel. However, the victory against Frankfurt added new names to the Munich club’s list of absentees, with Matthijs de Ligt and Konrad Laimer both forced off the pitch.

According to Mundo Deportivo, it is De Ligt who is the most worrying. The Dutch international left the Allianz Arena with a major bandage on his knee and an update is expected tomorrow.
