Former French international Samir Nasri believes Ronaldinho was better than Lionel Messi in terms of pure talent. Another clear opinion from someone who currently serves as a consultant for Canal+.
During a podcast with Insider AmineMaTue, Nasri was asked to compare the current and previous generation of great players. For him, it is the elders who win: “Ronaldo and Ronaldinho, in terms of pure talent, if they were serious, would have extinguished Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo. What Ronaldinho did with a ball is unheard of.”

The opinion is respectable, but it is not certain that everyone agrees and in particular those who have awakened to football over the last 20 years.
In terms of prize list, there is in any case no comparison between Ronnie and the two behemoths mentioned. The Brazilian only has one Ballon d’Or, while the Argentinian and the Portuguese have 8 and 5 respectively.
