This Saturday, Liverpool traveled to West Ham, opening the 35th day of the Premier League. A perilous and decisive meeting for the Reds, and victory was essential to keep this tiny hope of being champion. But once again, Jürgen Klopp’s men were unable to leave with the three points, held in check by the Hammers (2-2).

Bowen opened the scoring just before the break (1-0, 43rd), before Andy Robertson equalized after returning from the locker room (1-1, 48th). Thanks to an own goal from Soucek, Liverpool regained the advantage, but were caught up by Antonio’s goal at the start of the last quarter of an hour (2-2, 77th). This point does not help the Reds, third (75 points) two points from Arsenal (one game in hand) and one from City (two games behind). For their part, West Ham are eighth (49 points) and also seem to have said goodbye to European qualification.
