FC Barcelona is ready to reaffirm that Lamine Yamal will not be sold to Paris Saint-Germain.

The 16-year-old has enjoyed a sensational start to life in Barcelona’s first team after making his senior debut 12 months ago. Xavi Hernandez kept him in his first-team plans throughout the 2023/24 campaign, despite only turning 17 in July, and his meteoric rise has continued.

Last month, there were conflicting reports of a €200 million offer from PSG to bring the Spain international to Paris.

A meeting in Paris?

This offer was immediately rejected by Barcelona and the player himself, with PSG sources claiming the club were not interested. According to Diario AS, Lamine Yamal’s agent, Jorge Mendes, is expected in Paris this weekend to meet the PSG hierarchy.

This has reignited speculation that Mendes is negotiating a transfer, but the meeting concerns his other clients at PSG, and he will repeat Barcelona’s official line on their young superstar.
